Orders Management
The Orders module tracks all incoming orders — whether created manually, received through client quick order links, or imported. You can view order details, filter by status, and create shipments directly from orders.
Orders Page
The Orders page displays a paginated list of all orders with key information visible at a glance. Orders can come from quick order links (client self-service) or be created manually.
- Navigate to Orders in the sidebar menu.
- The paginated list shows: Order Number, Date (when the order was placed), Client name, Items Count (number of line items), Total Amount (in base currency), and Status badge.
- Click the page navigation at the bottom to browse through older orders.
- Click on any order row to open the order detail dialog with full information.
- New orders from client quick order links appear automatically and start in the New status.
Viewing Order Details
The order detail dialog shows complete information about an order including client details, all line items, and order notes.
- Click on any order in the list to open the order detail dialog.
- Review the client information section showing the client's name, email, and contact details.
- The line items table shows each product ordered: Product Name, Quantity, Unit Price, and Subtotal.
- The order total is displayed at the bottom, calculated from all line items.
- If the client added order notes (e.g., delivery instructions), they appear in the notes section.
- You can change the order's status from this dialog using the status dropdown.
- Click Create Shipment to start preparing a shipment for this order.
Filtering Orders
The Orders page provides filters to help you find specific orders by status or client. This is essential when managing a large volume of orders.
- At the top of the Orders page, find the Status Filter dropdown.
- Select a status to filter by: New (just received), Processing (being reviewed), Confirmed (approved by you), In Production (being manufactured), Ready (produced and ready to ship), Shipped (dispatched to client), Completed (delivered and closed), or Cancelled.
- Use the Client Filter dropdown to show orders from a specific client only.
- Combine both filters to narrow results further (e.g., Status: Ready + Client: "ABC Company" to see all ready-to-ship orders for that client).
- Clear the filters to show all orders again.
Creating a Shipment from an Order
Once an order is ready to be shipped, you can create a shipment directly from the order. The shipment form will be pre-filled with the client and order items.
- Open the order detail dialog by clicking on the order.
- Click the Create Shipment button at the bottom of the dialog.
- You will be navigated to the Shipment creation form, pre-filled with the client from the order and the order items (products and quantities).
- Review and adjust the shipment details if needed (e.g., partial shipment with reduced quantities).
- Set the shipment date and add any notes or tracking information.
- Click Save to create the shipment. The order can then be marked as Shipped.
- The shipment is now linked to the original order for full traceability.
